Treatment Options at Peace Valley Recovery
At Peace Valley Recovery, we understand that everyone is different. Each person has unique needs that require different levels of care.
We offer two programs to our patients that can each be customized.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our Partial Hospitalization Program provides intensive treatment as an outpatient. The program requires a commitment of 6 hours a day, 5 days per week.
This program is ideal for someone who is looking for a high level of treatment, while still being able to live at home.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is ideal for someone seeking treatment that wants to continue their daily responsibilities. This program meets 3 or 5 days per week, for 3 hours a day.
This may also be a good option for someone who has recently completed an inpatient program and is looking to step down care.
What to Expect from our Programs
We pride ourselves on providing a complete circle of care. We offer multiple types of therapy to support our clients. From traditional psychotherapy approaches to experiential therapies like yoga and music, we offer a variety of treatment options to our patients.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This type of psychotherapy is one of the most effective methods of therapy in treating substance abuse and mental health issues.
It seeks to address the root of problems by examining the relationships between negative thinking patterns and behaviors. CBT focuses on changing those patterns of thinking into more positive ones.
Our patients participate in therapy sessions in individual, group, and family settings.
Yoga and Music Therapy
Yoga and music have both been shown to have tremendous benefits for patients struggling with addiction.
These therapies can improve mood, reduce pain, and ease symptoms of withdrawal.
Yoga and music therapy support a patient’s physical, mental and social needs.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
This technique is highly effective at helping people whose addiction issues stem from PTSD or a traumatic event. Almost 50% of patients have a traumatic event in their past.
EMDR can help patients properly process memories so that they no longer are causing negative effects on the patient.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
If necessary, Peace Valley Recovery has the ability to prescribe and manage medications to assist in recovery. Medications may be prescribed to help ease withdrawal symptoms of certain drugs.
Medications may also be prescribed to address an underlying mental health issue such as depression or anxiety.
Medications are always closely monitored for effectiveness and side effects and are adjusted as needed.
Each patient has unique needs and will be assessed by our professionals when entering treatment. Treatment plans are designed to fit the patient but will be modified if necessary as treatment progresses.
What Does Treatment Cost?
At Peace Valley Recovery, we believe that cost should never prevent someone from receiving the care they need.
Our admissions specialist will verify your insurance coverage and help you understand your options in paying for treatment.
We are in-network with many insurance plans and most plans offer benefits that support mental health treatment services. Some or all of your out-of-pocket costs may be covered by insurance.
