Treatment Programs
We know that every client has their own needs when it comes to recovering from addiction.
We focus on outpatient drug and alcohol rehab and offer two levels of programming to meet our clients’ needs.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Maybe you’ve gone through detox and inpatient rehab, but you need a high level of support. If so, our PHP might be the best fit for you.
Partial hospitalization programs offer the structure you need while allowing you to live at home if you choose. This level of care includes:
- 5 days of programming each week (6 hours per day).
- Daily group therapy.
- Individual therapy sessions twice per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Maybe you don’t require the higher level of care offered by partial hospitalization, but you would benefit from more frequent appointments. Our IOP may be the best fit.
Intensive outpatient programs are designed to be flexible while providing you with a high level of support. Our IOP is designed to help you transition back into your normal activities after completing an inpatient stay.
During IOP, you’ll experience:
- Case management services.
- A flexible program (either 3 or 5 days per week) for 3 hours a day.
- Group therapy sessions each day.
- Individual therapy one day per week.
Addiction Recovery Therapy
Therapy is a vital component of your recovery treatment plan. Our therapists are highly-skilled in evidence-based treatment modalities.
Your needs differ from others as you recover from substance abuse. You will receive your own unique treatment plan to ensure your needs are addressed.
Clients receiving treatment at Peace Valley Recovery may be recommended any of the following:
- Dual diagnosis treatment
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Family therapy
- EMDR
- Holistic therapies (Yoga, art, music, etc.)
Sober Living Availability
As we mentioned, Peace Valley Recovery is located just 45 minutes away from Hamilton by car. You may choose to drive to and from our facility for your appointments.
However, if that presents a hardship for you, sober living is another option to consider.
We have a partnership with Candor House, which is a local, upscale recovery home in Bucks County. Many of our clients find it more feasible to stay there while receiving treatment.
If you’d like to know more about Candor House and recovery housing availability, please let us know. We’re happy to help you find a safe, nurturing environment to live in while you’re with us.
Does Insurance Cover Outpatient Rehab?
Yes! At Peace Valley Recovery, we’re in-network with many health insurance providers. These partnerships allow us to help you keep your out-of-pocket costs to a minimum.
You may find that your outpatient addiction treatment services are covered in full. Many of our clients do.
We will gladly verify your insurance to determine your coverage. So there’s no need to worry about whether drug and alcohol rehab is affordable.
Addiction Recovery Support in Hamilton

Outpatient Addiction Therapy
There are many therapists in the Hamilton area that offer outpatient services for addiction recovery. This might be an option to consider if:
- You have not been using drugs or alcohol recently, and do not need to detox.
- You’ve gone through a quality inpatient detox and rehab program.
- You have a good support system at home.
Your therapist may want to meet with you between 1 and 3 times per week for hour-long appointments.
Please keep in mind that many therapists only offer individual sessions. Some may offer group therapy, but it is relatively rare with this level of care.
Inpatient Treatment for Substance Abuse
If you have never experienced residential addiction treatment, we recommend it as your first step in recovery.
Inpatient rehab involves detoxing from the substances you use in a safe environment. Depending on your addiction, this may take 1-2 weeks.
Afterward, you may continue on to rehab, where you will work on healing from the root causes of your addiction.
