Nicole has been writing website content for addiction treatment and recovery programs in the United States since 2015. She has written medically-reviewed web pages, blog posts, long and short-form articles and more.
Nicole is a professional member of the American Medical Writers Association. As such, this has afforded her the opportunity to create fact-based website content for drug and alcohol treatment centers that offer many different levels of care.
Nicole graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Relationships. After graduation, she took a position at St. Joseph’s Hospital working as a mental health assistant on their Behavioral Science Unit. This position allowed her to work directly with patients who were struggling because of their substance abuse issues and mental health conditions. That experience afforded her the opportunity see first-hand the type of treatment those patients needed in order to recover successfully.
Nicole lives in Elmira, NY with her husband, four children and two dogs. Writing is her passion, and it was something she had always wanted to do, ever since she was ten years old. Today, she loves being able to be a part of addiction treatment programs that aim to help people realize their need for recovery.
