How the Admissions Process Works
At Peace Valley Recovery, our goal is to help you and your family find the right path to recovery and healing. We never push our own services above what’s right for you, which is why the admissions process involves discussing your situation, addiction and needs with an experienced admissions person first. After that, we provide advice about what might be the best steps for you, including referrals for outpatient rehab, inpatient treatment or other services — whether or not we provide those options.
Step 1: Reach Out for Assistance
Each person’s journey into and out of addiction is a personal one. And while loved ones and the caring staff at Peace Valley Recovery can offer a wide range of support during recovery, the first step is yours to take. Reach out today via phone or our online contact form to begin the process.
Step 2: Speak to Peace Valley Recovery Admissions Staff
We’ll work with you to set up a time so you can speak to one of our caring, professional staff. During this intake process, you have an opportunity to share — as you’re comfortable — about your struggle with addiction and any other factors that may be relevant.
The admissions staff member will ask you questions to help ensure the most appropriate information is gathered. While we strive to create a comforting, safe environment where you can share at your own pace, do remember that entrusting your admissions staff member with information helps them provide the best possible recommendation about treatment options.
Step 3: Make an Educated Decision About Your Road to Recovery
After talking to you and learning more about your situation and goals for recovery — and verifying your insurance — we can lay out the options you have for seeking rehab services. We may let you know more about your options with our programs, discuss with you why inpatient treatment is potentially the best starting point for you or provide a referral to another provider that accepts your insurance and can deliver quality services at a lower overall cost to you.
Our goals during the admissions process are to:
- Ensure your safety
- Provide education about your options so you can make a strong first step toward recovery
- Help you become more comfortable about this journey and your role in it
